Anglo American in partnership with EDF Renewables, announced an agreement on 4 October 2022, to form a new jointly owned company, Envusa Energy, to develop a regional renewable energy ecosystem (“RREE”) in South Africa, launching 600MW of wind and solar projects in the first phase.
